PCA Welcomes Infrastructure and Training Investment in 2016 BC Budget

EDMONTON, Feb. 17, 2016 – The Progressive Contractors Association of Canada (PCA) today welcomed the 2016 BC provincial budget, the fourth straight balanced budget in British Columbia.

“Our members understand the value of fiscal control,” said PCA President Paul de Jong.  “A company’s success depends on it, and we congratulate the Government of BC on this notable achievement.”

Announced on February 16th by Minister of Finance, Michael De Jong, the budget is highlighted by $12 billion over three years for infrastructure and $18 million in new funding for youth trades training.

“PCA welcome these significant new investments and our members will work hard to ensure the taxpayer receives best value for dollar on any projects they are involved in,” said de Jong.

“Our members look forward to working with the government of BC as it seeks to build a stronger, safer future for all British Columbians.”
