SESSION I: IMPROVING CONSTRUCTION LABOUR PRODUCTIVITY

Gain essential knowledge regarding critical parameters influencing labour productivity and how they can be utilized for enhanced project success.
This session will provide construction practitioners with key results and recommendations from a province-wide study on the most important factors and practices influencing construction labour productivity. Session I will also offer attendees an overview of Productivity Tracker, a new software tool developed by the NSERC Industrial Research Chair in Strategic Construction Modeling and Delivery for managing and analyzing labour productivity data.

SESSION II: CRITICAL PROJECT PRACTICES AND PEOPLE SKILLS

Benefit from insight on the most vital project practices and people skills for enhancing the cost and schedule performance of construction projects.
This session will provide construction practitioners with key results and recommendations from a province-wide study comparing the most significant competencies for owners versus those for contractors as well as their impact on project key performance indicators (KPIs), with a focus on cost and schedule. Session II will also offer attendees an overview of Organizational Competencies and Project Performance Tool (OCPPT), a new software tool developed by the NSERC Industrial Research Chair in Strategic Construction Modeling and Delivery for managing and analyzing competency and KPI data.
